About Snor & Oaty
SNOR is the wise guru cat, who knows a lot about Secret Inner Powers. With her soft snow-white fur and sapphire blue eyes, she is a picture of peace and grace. Her purr is like a lullaby, and her eyes always sparkle with an idea for a new adventure.
OATY is a curious young cat, exploring life through play. A patchwork of orange, black, and white fur covers her – as if choosing just one color would be far too boring. Her emerald green eyes are large with wonder as she learns every day.
About the Youngkinds
The tales of Snor & Oaty are based on the reality of the Youngkind family in the Netherlands. Jurgen and Marinka are the proud pet parents of Snor and Oaty, two charismatic cats full of personality and wisdom.
What started as an interest in psychology, dreams, fairy tales, spiritual teachings, imagination, and consciousness, has grown into this book series. Here, they joined hands with experienced school teachers, child psychotherapists, and other experts to create something new.
The goal of these stories is to help young readers unlock their Secret Inner Powers and navigate life with kindness, empathy, and confidence. Follow along with Oaty and explore the big questions of existence with the playful guidance of Snor.
